LNMP一键安装包是一个用Linux Shell编写的可以为CentOS/RadHat、Debian VPS(VDS)或独立主机安装LNMP(Nginx、MySQL、PHP、phpMyAdmin)生产环境的Shell程序。

LNMP 0.6是一个安装优化版，主要是处理脚本安装过程中的错误及添加Ubuntu专用安装脚本(安装成功率大大提升)，并未对安装程序的版本进行升级。

nginx（发音同engine x）是一款由俄罗斯程序员Igor Sysoev所开发轻量级的网页服务器、反向代理服务器以及电子邮件（IMAP/POP3）代理服务器。起初是供俄国大型的门户网站及搜索引擎Rambler（俄语：Рамблер）使用。此软件BSD-like协议下发行，可以在UNIX、GNU/Linux、BSD、Mac OS X、Solaris，以及Microsoft Windows等操作系统中运行。

目前中国大陆使用nginx网站用户有：新浪、网易、腾讯,另外知名的微网志Plurk也使用nginx。
